I create for clients a concise plan to follow through after each training session. The benefit clients get from working with me is helping them get these amazing results:
As a certified Master Trainer, a Cancer Exercise Specialist and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I've always noticed that there was a significant gap in the industry. While there are countless trainers focused on men and women under the age of 40, there are very few who focus on individuals transitioning into the middle and later years of their lives.
As a Certified Personal Trainer and Advanced Cancer Exercise Specialist, I meet my clients where they’re at. I create a training program based on their goals and needs. Each training session is built on the previous session. I create workouts that are fun and challenging. No two workouts are the same. I use a variety of equipment including resistance bands, kettlebells, TRX, stability ball and free weights to name just a few.
As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I set the stage for our coaching relationship and explore the client’s wellness vision and long term goals. This is done during the initial session. In the following sessions, we explore the current state of whatever their focus is and explore the future state (desires) where they would like to see change. The client sets a SMART action step to work on. As their coach, I do weekly check ins with clients to see if support is needed.
Since graduating from IIN, I have had the honor of mentoring health coaches. I was part of their Immersion program ( second year program) where I mentored 8 to 10 students individually for an entire year. I moved on to be a Coaching Circle Facilitator where I worked with groups of 8 to 10 students every two months. Presently, I am part of the Coaching Intensive Practicum course which students must take in order to apply for the National Boards. I am a Buddy Coach Facilitator. I observe students coaching each other, provide feedback on their coaching and help them build their confidence in the coaching process.
